Bangalore metro line

Bangalore is an Indian metropolis with a population of 8.4 million and is the Eastern capital of information technology: it has to deal with a critical situation regarding surface mobility.
For this reason, local authorities have planned to implement a new metropolitan transport system based on lines running both underground and on flyovers. Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd has launched an international tender for the implementation of the first two lines: the Purple, over an East-West route and the Green with a North-South course.
The consortium formed by Beml, Mitsubishi and Hyundai Rotem was awarded the first stage for the supply of 150 carriages on which our rubber flooring was installed. Plans for development envisage extensions to current routes with the inclusion of another two lines, Yellow and Red, increasing the number of serviced stations to 61.
