860 double-decker, modular conformation trains will be supplied to the different French regions between 2014 and 2020.
Constructed at the Crespin (France) factory, one of the largest in Europe, the Regio 2N trains are designed with top quality and sustainability criteria to guarantee a reduction in maintenance costs and energy consumption.
The design is by Studio MBD of Paris and is carachterised by a quest for maximum functionality for passengers, with ample corridors obtained by exploiting the wide body constructive concept. For the interiors, the design envisages two solutions: rubber flooring with specific Decors Idea or a traditional Grain type design.
